David Jaffe, PresidentDavid Jaffe serves as Principal of Jaffe Management Inc., a New York City based firm providing comprehensive management services and a headquarters office to associations and non-profits. In this role he works extensively with the Boards of Directors of his clients to help set strategy and implement the work of the Board and other volunteers. Additional experience includes: general management and operations of association activities for a variety of organizations, event and conference planning, membership development, and volunteer management. Jaffe is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center (LSNC) and serves as the Chair of its Governance Committee. He is also involved in the mentoring program Streetwise Partners, which provides career training to low income adults. Jaffe received a BA in Economics from Georgetown University, a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Virginia, and holds the CAE (Certified Association Executive) credential.
Katie Cunningham, Vice PresidentKatie Cunningham is a managing director of recruitment at Teach For America and works to ensure the team and organization’s overall success by recruiting and matriculating corps members from colleges and universities across the Northeast. Prior to Teach For America, Katie worked at American Express in Strategic Planning & Business Development and Smart Card Enterprise Development. Katie holds a B.S. in economics with a dual concentration in management and finance from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She has been a member of the LSNC board since 2005.
Reshma Rughwani, Second Vice President and SecretaryReshma Rughwani is Vice President of Strategic Development at WebMD Health. Her key areas of responsibility include working with leading pharmaceutical companies to develop innovative programs to improve understanding and treatment of diseases and health concerns among consumers and healthcare professionals.
Prior to WebMD, Reshma was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting, where she specialized in developing growth strategies, and an Auditor with Ernst & Young, London. Reshma is an Accredited Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She enjoys the arts and culture of the Lincoln Center area and has loved being a part of the board of directors of LSNC since 2009
Julie BarrettJulie Barrett is a Director of Corporate and Investment Banking Client Marketing at Deutsche Bank responsible for creating and implementing strategic marketing programs and initiatives for the Americas Region. She works closely with the Bank’s senior management team on leveraging the DB brand through a variety of mediums inclusive of proprietary research, sponsorships, corporate conferences, exclusive client events and speaking opportunities. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Julie was a Senior Director of Corporate Communications at CB Richard Ellis responsible for the development and direct oversight of a communications, branding and marketing strategy for the world’s largest commercial real estate services company. In addition to her focus on diversity in the workplace for which she received Deutsche Bank’s 2008 Leader in Diversity Award, Julie has been a proud member of the LSNC board since 2009.
Aynesh JohnsonAynesh Johnson is the global head of Global Leadership and Diversity within the Human Capital Management Division of Goldman Sachs responsible for the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts. Aynesh joined Goldman Sachs in 1992 as a financial analyst in the Corporate Finance Department. After leaving to pursue her MBA, she rejoined the firm in 1997 and spent six years as a banker in the Investment Banking Division, covering clients in the industrials sector. In 2003, she transferred to the Human Capital Management Division. Aynesh became a vice president in 2000 and was named managing director in 2009. She earned a BA in Mathematics from Duke University in 1992 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1997. Aynesh joined the board of Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center in 2002 and served as board president until 2011.
Gerald KahnGerald Kahn is counsel to Smith, Buss & Jacobs, LLC. Mr. Kahn has represented litigants in courts of all jurisdictions in the Metropolitan area for more than 50 years. He has been lead counsel and has actively tried to numerous jury and non-jury cases to conclusion. Mr. Kahn received his undergraduate degree from Columbia College and his law degree from Columbia Law School, after serving in the United States Army for two years. Gerald has been a board member with LSNC for over 25 years.
Tiffany FoaTiffany Foa is a Partner at Green Peak Partners, a premier organizational consulting firm serving private equity firms, hedge funds, and other high-performance companies. A specialist in executive assessment and a certified coach, Tiffany helps her clients optimize the human capital factor by recognizing and developing A-level talent. Her background includes a variety of experiences ranging from leading projects at The Boston Consulting Group to teaching high school mathematics. She lives on the Upper West Side with her husband and son, and is proud to serve on LSNC’s board
Taal McLeanTaal Mclean is Vice President of Sales at C&C California, a contemporary lifestyle fashion brand owned by Perry Ellis International. Taal is responsible for spearheading the growth of the brand in all distribution channels. Over the past 10 years Taal has worked for several leading brands and companies including Donna Karan International and VF Corporation. Taal has lived on the Upper West side since 2006 and has been a board member since that time. Her commitment to LSNC stems from a strong desire to give back to the community in which she lives.
Christine MilenChristine Millen is a retired partner of Deloitte, the international consulting and professional services firm, where she led major consulting projects for national and international clients in both the public and private sector. She is co-founder of The Transition Network an inclusive community of professional women 50 and forward whose changing life situations lead them to seek new connections, resources and opportunities. She was recognized as a Purpose Prize Fellow for this creation.
She is a Vice-President of the Board of Signature Theatre and a member of the Advocacy Council for the Citizens’ Committee for Children. She has been an LSNC board member for 10 years and during her tenure has served as Treasurer and Chair of the Development Committee.
Melanie Schmidt, Executive DirectorMelanie Schmidt is currently the Exective Director of Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center. Prior to being appointed the Executive Director Ms. Schmidt served as the Associate Executive Director at LSNC for two years.
Kylie Wright-FordKylie Wright-Ford is Co-Head of Global Research at Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc. (GLG) and is also responsible for managing the Americas team. Kylie joined GLG in 2005 and is responsible for developing talent, managing revenue and building the global membership of the GLG Councils. Kylie has contributed to key initiatives including geographic expansion into Latin America and growing the global Council membership. Prior to joining Gerson Lehrman Group Inc, Kylie spent eight years with Goldman Sachs JBWere in Australia in their stockbroking business specializing in equities and derivatives. In addition to her role with Goldman Sachs JBWere, Kylie served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of a private healthcare group, UnitingCare. The early stage of Kylie’s career includes three years as an economist. Kylie has an MBA from the SAID Business School, Oxford University, and an Honors Degree in Commerce from the University of Melbourne
